Welcome to the Surrey Police Authority's Webcasting Webpages. Here you will find notice of forthcoming webcasts of the Authority's meetings held in public and also access to previous web casts for up to six months. All webcasts after this time can be made available on request. Please email spa@surrey.police.uk.
The Surrey Police Authority meets in public seven times a year; the agendas for these meetings are set and published five days in advance and available on the Authority's website at www.surreypa.gov.uk. If you would like to submit a question to be answered at the meeting you do not have to attend. Just write to the secretariat (please allow 10 days prior to the meeting date): Erika Johnson, Surrey Police Authority, PO Box 412, Guildford, Surrey GU3 1BR. You will receive the response in writing following the meeting.
Surrey Police Authority consists of 17 Members. Nine of the Members are County Councillors, elected to Surrey County Council, and appointed by the Council to reflect the political balance of the parties on the County Council. The remaining eight are Independent Members recruited from the general public in Surrey. One of these Independent Members must be a serving Magistrate.
